UPDATE 03/23/2010: Hey Everyone! If your wondering about the updates on the movie here is a little update. Shooting has been complete for some time and is now in post. Music and special effects are whats left as far as major edits. But keep an eye open for video updates. Thanks Everyone! Ok, This is the “official” trailer for our biggest project, Left for Dead, based off of the video game “Left 4 Dead” Keep, in mind though, that this is only the first half of the movie! We are still in the making of shooting the rest. So if you think this tailer is epic, just wait until the “Really Real” Trailer is realeased when all the shooting is done! So dont worry your little balls about zombies….There will be plenty more. so enjoy this epic taste of our creation! And for the whiney people about complaining about this being a Fake trailer…We are not trying to sell the idea that the real movie for Left 4 Dead is on its way to theatres, there is almost no chance of them making the game into a real movie. We are taking this game and using it to create our own version of a “movie” with our own story line. We are not taking any of the characters from the game…except the zombie ones (not even all of them) or the story because the game had none. This is an original story line, but using tid bits from the game to drive it. So just enjoy this as you would any movie, and not as “kids trying to make a fake movie trailer”. An update for my Special Infected Soundpack I made for l4d, these soundpacks will replace the sounds of the special and common infected for L4D2, as well as some other stuff I felt like changing. OK, fellas. Just as I promised, here’s another video to show off a bit more of the game, but before you get to all the watching, let me clear up a few common misconceptions real quick. 1. I saw all the comments regarding the game’s difficulty being low, and I assured you all that the original video was just the first part of the first stage. In this new video, you’ll catch a glimpse of the “Death Toll” mission on 2 player, showing off a tougher couple of levels. Still though, this is also pretty early in game, so the difficulty still goes up from here. 2. All but one of the special infected are seen in this new video. The Tank doesn’t appear until later in the campaign, so obviously, you won’t see him here. You WILL, however, see the Witch crying in her corner, the Hunter pouncing on the survivors, and the players being stuck on the spot by the Smoker’s tongue. The Boomer is also here, but you’ll recognize him from the first video anyways. 3. I want to point out that I am NOT the one playing in this video. The first player is my buddy “DAC,” who is playing Louis, and the second player is my buddy “Jesse” who is playing Francis. They had quite a fun time playing Death Toll for the first time together and will continue to help me make this product the very best it can be. 4.
